Epic Games Releases a List of Devices That Will Support Fortnite Android Beta


Makers of gamer's favorite game Fortnite launched the long awaited Fortnite for android beta along side the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 at Galaxy Unpacked Launch event in L.A. a few days ago.

The game will be exclusive to Samsung devices from the S7 and up and its availability will start on the Note 9 and the Samsung Galaxy tab S4 before its support comes to other samsung devices.

While Epic Games was forced to distibite the game for iOS on the app store, Epic last week anounced that it would by pass google play and distribute the game on its own website which will cause Google miss out on more than $50 million.

Players on Samsung Galaxy devices will be able to drop in immediately Epic begin rolling out the game and access to the game will continue in waves for other compatible Android devices over the next few days.

Epic Games has released a list of phones that will be supported on the game platform. Epic games has stipulated that only more recent flagship phones will be able to handle and play the game. A full list of supported phones is found below and on Epic's website.

Fortnite for Android Beta will be made available using an invite system. Visit Fortnite.com on your Android device to sign up for the Android Beta and you will recieve an invite email allowing you download and play the game on android.
